Stress
Sometimes
it is not easy to work with different kinds of people, this causes stress.
Overyone has different interests, personalities, backgrounds which makes the
situations turn difficult sometimes. Most of the kids are polite, cooperative
and willing to work, but there are others who are very rude and do not want to do anything, this causes
me stress. Besides that, I try to help them but do not show any interest in change.
There are also parents who do not cooperate with
the situations above. Instead of supporting me, they let that their kids do
whatever they want. This really stresses me because I try to do my best but
they do not want to get better. Sometimes I feel disapointed.
There are
several sources of burnout in my teachiign environment. I love teaching, but
when the groups are too big, it is very difficult to handle the situation. When
I put the test, especially the exams, I get a lot of papers to grade.
Although
sometimes the school environment becomes stressful, I do not let it overwhelm
me. Negative things that may happen during the school day I do not take them
home with me. At home I do things that I enjoy: Reading , watch TV, jogging,
etc. On the weekend I usually spend with my relatives, we prepare food and talk
about different topics. In general my life is enjoyable. But overall I also
enjoy many things at school. It also gives me a lotof rewards.

What elements of today´s class can I incorporate to my lesson plan to
make it better.
As we know the lesson plan is one of the important aspects in our
teaching and learning process because it is the guide of what we are going to
do. That is why we need to be careful when we are preparing it and try to
update it with new kinds of information and tendencies. Usually teachers focus
on objectives, activities, resources, methodology and evaluation when they are
planning.
One of the things we need to incorporate in our lesson plan is classroom
management. We may have the best lesson plan but if we do not know how to
manage the classroom our plan may fail. Therefore, to achieve our goals we need
to take into account aspects such as: the environment in the classroom, the
human relationships, the discipline, our students’ needs and interests, etc.
To achieve a good atmosphere in the class we need to get involved our
students, it means that they have to feel part of it. We can ask them their
opinions about how we could improve our classroom activities, this way they
will feel engaged in the process.
We also need to pay attention to their language. The way they speak,
what they say to know their feelings. This way we can guide them better and
understand them. This would help us to be empathetic with them. We need to give
them confidence in order to make them feel comfortable.
In summary, I would say that we need to incorporate the affective
factors in our lesson plans to make them more applicable and in consequence our
objectives turn more achievable. We need to make our schools more enjoyable
where everybody works without stress. We would avoid many things that distract
us in our classrooms. We would be preventing many problems. Obviously this
takes time but little by little we can improve our classroom environment.
